Sontag Residence Hall
Harvey Mudd College, one of the member colleges to The Claremont College Consortium, is world renowned for its science and engineering curricula. To support the new students, faculty, and its prestigious education, the College was in need of a new residence hall. GO Architects Principals helped the College to develop and construct the new Sontag Residence Hall, the first building within The Claremont College Consortium to be certified as LEED Platinum by the USGBC. The new hall housed more than 75 students, included 18 suites with full kitchens, 42 single rooms, and 18 double rooms, and was the first faculty-in-residence program at the College. Now students have a safe, secure, and eco-friendly environment to go home to after a long day of work, study, and innovation.
