New Campus Construction

The old Oasis Elementary School, in addition to being a school, served as the center of the community. Oasis featured playgrounds for the children, playfields for adults, a place to hold townhall meetings, and was the primary voting center for the community. The New Oasis Elementary School, naturally, was envisioned as an extension of these traditions and was designed to be “a community center—an oasis in the deserts of the southwest, a bazaar catering to the soul of its citizens.” GO Architects Principals are proud to have designed, developed, and constructed a warm and welcoming center. The New Oasis features a clearly identifiable entry gateway; a central courtyard and outdoor performance space for social gatherings; an administration building that governs the school, supports its students and staff, and is accountable to the parents and community; and, a kindergarten and childcare complex to nurture the young in their first years away from home.
