The 57-year-old John W. North High School campus is well-loved and an important institution in the community, but it requires major renovations to continue serving its growing student body. Thanks to Riverside Unified School District, the passionate community’s input and involvement, Measure O, and Federal funds enhancing Measure O, this significant transformation project will revitalize the campus through utility upgrades, pavement and landscape replacement, removal of existing portable buildings, renovation of existing buildings, and the construction of a new two-story science classroom building, new competition gymnasium, new student entries at the front and back of the school, outdoor learning environments, and other shaded gathering areas.
