With the help of this project, Valley View High School now offers their students two competition-level softball fields for the Junior and Varsity softball teams. Although there were existing baseball fields on campus for Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, there were no softball fields that were suitable for competitive play. Other benefits of this project are a new staff parking lot, a new promenade connecting the new fields and parking lot to the current campus, renovated restrooms, and an electronic marquee for the campus. For sporting events, the new parking lot also functions as a visitor's lot. Support buildings include two batting cages, two bullpens, a scoreboard for the varsity field, and a paved plaza with aluminum bleachers.
