Modernization + New Gymnasium + New Shade Structure, Alta Loma Junior High School,
Alta Loma Junior High School has a rich, agrarian culture pre-dating the existence of its current resident city of Rancho Cucamonga. Opening its doors in 1966, Alta Loma Jr. High had one building with an administration office, nurse’s office, lounge, library, and classrooms for approximately 200 students. No longer surrounded by orange groves, GO Architects is proud to have been a part of Alta Loma Jr. High’s history by both modernizing, and transforming the campus. GO Architects supported the school by designing, developing and constructing a new state-of-the-art gymnasium, a new photovoltaic shade-structure, and modernization various classrooms and restrooms throughout campus. These renovations and transformation helps the school support over 600 students, and maintains itself as one of the best schools in both the District and in Southern California.
